Key Responsibilities:

• Perform utility locating services using the latest equipment to ensure accurate identification and marking of underground utilities, prevent damages, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
• Work closely with project teams to provide real-time support on utility locating and address any concerns regarding underground infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining the highest Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) standards through continuous monitoring, inspections, and reporting.
• Lead safety briefings, ensure adherence to OSHA standards, and proactively address potential hazards on job sites.
• Track and document findings, create detailed quality reports , and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in utility locating is essential, as well as solid knowledge of utility infrastructure and the ability to work with advanced locating equipment.
• Excellent understanding of QA/QC processes within construction projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety and accuracy.
• Experience with locating systems.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience in data management.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. The terrain is hilly, winding, and uneven.
• Must reside in or near Albuquerque, NM , and have a valid driver’s license.
• A valid driver's license is required for all positions.

• Strong data entry skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Process and documentation orientation, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Experience with Google Suite and other data entry software. Understanding of basic utility construction processes and terminology is a plus.

• Estimated base hourly rate is anticipated to be between $20 - $25 . Pay ranges represent a good faith Hourly estimate at the time of the job posting. Actual pay will be based on multiple factors including experience, skill sets, location, internal equity, and market rates.
