Overview

As CTO, you will be pivotal in driving innovation, technical leadership, and strategic vision within CAES by Honeywell. Reporting to the President of CAES by Honeywell as a key member of our leadership team, you will be accountable for providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and operational oversight to our technology teams.

Focusing on Electronic Warfare, Radar and Sensor applications , you will be instrumental in driving innovation, fostering technical excellence, and shaping our long-term technical strategy. By providing expert guidance, mentoring engineering teams, and leading cutting-edge research and development efforts, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that CAES by Honeywell remains at the forefront of technology and engineering in Aerospace & Defense.

This role can sit in multiple locations - San Diego, CA, San Jose, CA, or Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the technology vision and roadmap for CAES by Honeywell, both within our business and collaboratively across all of Honeywell Aerospace.
  • Develop growth opportunities and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects synchronized with our strategic growth plans.
  • Guide and develop high-performing technology teams to drive innovation that achieves business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize technology resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Act as an executive technical spokesperson within Honeywell Aerospace, building customer advocacy with Primes, DoD entities and the A&D community.
  • Ensure technology best practices, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including EW, Radar and/or Sensor applications.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience and a proven record of successful project execution with large and diverse technology and stakeholder teams.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to g uide and develop high-performing technology teams.
  • Strong dedication to safety, quality, and compliance.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a US Person under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

SALARY RANGE

Base Salary : $250,000/year to $312,000/year. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
