Position Summary: We are looking for enthusiastic
Personal Trainers to provide exquisite and unique personal training experiences within our three levels of fitness and wellness offerings at Heimat, the first of its kind, exclusive member's fitness concept. The Personal Trainer functions as our fitness concierge, the point of contact for all our members' fitness needs. Whether they are performing lead generating member activations on the floor or leading our members through a scientifically backed program, our Personal Trainers exemplifies the HEIMAT brand standard. Our Personal Trainers maximizes our member's training potential by integrating healthy lifestyle choices, creating a robust relationship to fitness and well-being, and possesses the potential for longevity. The Personal Trainer will create programs based on members' needs and develop new workouts for HEIMAT's member workout library in the HEIMAT: Invigorate App. With a vast menu of services pertaining to fitness offerings at HEIMAT, our Personal Trainers will have ample opportunities to showcase their expertise and passion in training, nutrition, bespoke programming, and much more. This role will report directly to the Fitness & Wellness Manager.
Responsibilities: - Assist our members with Fitness Inductions to highlight HEIMAT's plethora of fitness offerings.
- Process new member's intake questions, better understand their fitness goals, pre-existing physical restraints, and other pertinent information relevant to their success at HEIMAT.
- Perform In-Body Assessments and Functional Movement Screenings to create a bespoke fitness experience for members achieving maximum results.
- Create scientifically backed programming that is effective yet challenging, and compliments their current physical condition, lifestyle factors, and nutrition habits.
- Perform all administrative duties assigned such as scheduling/booking clients, checking each client in after their session is performed, and managing their HEIMAT email inbox.
- Showcase kindness, empathy, and support for our club members, with different fitness experience and background, to achieve their training success.
- Be present on the gym floor, assisting members with exercises and/or equipment demonstrations, correcting anatomical errors when sought and applicable, and keeping the gym floor to the highest standards of cleanliness and like-new essence.
- Keep a pulse on the latest fitness trends in the fitness industry and apply when appropriate to elevate the HEIMAT member experience.
- Apply expert-level fitness knowledge while integrating our brand's mission and values to create a unique and exciting fitness experience specific to HEIMAT.
- Ensure and maintain our facility standards, upholding the integrity of the HEIMAT member experience.
- Support our leadership team, as needed, such as teaching at special events, private events, and for our VIP members.
- In conjunction with the private training model, be able use and execute the HEIMAT: Invigorate App, creating and prescribing tailored programing for our members.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for: - Minimum of 3 years of Personal Training experience at a boutique or luxury fitness brand.
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science is a plus.
- National fitness certification (NASM, ACE, AFAA, or equivalent) in specific modality, if applicable.
- Current hands-on CPR/AED Certification is required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and adaptable coaching methods to different learning styles.
- Reliable, responsible, and displays ownership over the execution of the created programs.
- Willing to learn how to integrate app-based technology with member intake, maximizing training potential.
- Must be able to quickly determine progress or regress exercises to keep members engaged regardless of experience or fitness ability.
- Understanding or appreciation of multiple fitness modalities is preferred.
- Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs. Must be able to climb and descend stairs multiple times a day, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Team player who is supportive of all HEIMAT's offerings and is enthusiastic about being a trainer for a growing brand.
Compensation: $20 per hour plus commission on paid sessions
Key Responsibilities: - Assist our members with Fitness Inductions to highlight HEIMAT's plethora of fitness offerings.
- Process new member's intake questions, better understand their fitness goals, pre-existing physical restraints, and other pertinent information relevant to their success at HEIMAT.
- Perform In-Body Assessments, Functional Movement Screenings, and administer health dossiers to create a bespoke fitness experience for members achieving maximal results.
- Create scientifically backed programming that is effective yet challenging, and compliments their current physical condition, lifestyle factors, and nutrition habits.
- Showcase kindness, empathy, and support for our club members, with different fitness experience and background, to achieve their training success.
- Complete a minimum of four (4) hours within the training week as Floor Trainer, being present on the gym floor, assisting members with exercises and/or equipment demonstrations, correcting anatomical errors when sought and applicable, and keeping the gym floor to the highest standards of cleanliness and like-new essence.
- Keep a pulse on the latest fitness trends in the fitness industry and applying when appropriate to elevate the HEIMAT members experience.
