NeoGenomics is seeking a Medical Science Liaison who is eager to learn and contribute to our growth. This role is available in Denver, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Kansas City, Omaha, or Minneapolis.

Position Summary:

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will facilitate scientific exchange and education about NeoGenomics products to oncologists, pathologists, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and internal teams. The MSL will develop and expand a network of KOLs through client interactions, support publications and presentations, and collaborate with the clinical sales team to provide scientific support. Candidates should have a strong background in oncology and genomic testing, excellent communication skills, and be field-based.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and research leaders.
  2. Educate on scientific content and NeoGenomics products through various forums and in collaboration with internal teams.
  3. Engage clients via calls, webinars, conferences, and site visits, including regional travel.
  4. Share updates on scientific publications, market trends, and medical knowledge.
  5. Support physician inquiries about reports and assays.
  6. Present scientific data in person or virtually at various venues.
  7. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to support training and scientific needs.
  8. Participate in scientific updates, journal clubs, and meetings as a primary resource.
  9. Assist marketing in developing training materials for internal use.
  10. Support business objectives related to NGS and MRD testing.
  11. Adhere to company values, safety, and compliance policies.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, PA, GC, hematopathology).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an MSL.
  • Knowledge of oncology, biomarkers, guidelines, and molecular testing.
  • Understanding of NGS and MRD workflows.
  • Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to educate healthcare providers and internal staff.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Expertise in oncology diagnostics, NGS, and MRD.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with data presentation and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight.
