Job Description

Job Description: Prominent AmLaw 200 firm in Downtown LA seeks a Legal Recruiter to join their team. The ideal Recruiter has demonstrated experience with professional, full cycle recruiting in the legal sector, familiarity with ATSes such as Workday and Greenhouse, and onboarding procedures.

Legal Recruiter Job Duties:

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process for professional staff roles, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on recruitment strategies, interview structure, timelines, and compensation parameters.
  • Coordinate all stages of the interview process-scheduling phone, video, and in-person interviews with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide a high-touch, professional candidate experience by clearly communicating role expectations, answering questions, and facilitating smooth interview logistics.
  • Review applications and resumes to assess qualifications and alignment with role requirements.
  • Participate in candidate interviews as needed, offering objective insights to hiring teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); ensure data accuracy and integrity across all recruitment activities.
  • Collaborate with external recruitment agencies, managing relationships, reviewing contracts, and ensuring adherence to Master Service Agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Support onboarding tasks to prepare new hires for a successful start.
  • Perform additional talent-related duties as assigned.

Legal Recruiter Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of previous recruiting experience in a corporate or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, etc.)
  • Understanding of recruitment compliance and employment laws
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and stakeholders simultaneously
