Role Overview

They are seeking a Senior Associate / VP1 to join their Chemicals M&A team. The ideal candidate will have a strong investment banking background in industrials, a proven track record of closed M&A transactions, and a keen interest in the chemicals sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead M&A transaction execution, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with corporate executives, private equity firms, and industry leaders.
• Prepare and deliver pitch materials, investment memos, and transaction presentations.
• Conduct industry research and market analysis to support deal origination and execution.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to drive strategic advisory initiatives.
• Mentor and oversee junior analysts and associates in financial modeling and transaction processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of investment banking experience, preferably in industrials or chemicals M&A.
• Strong M&A transaction experience, including deal structuring, valuation, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal, CapIQ, and financial modeling tools.
