Position Overview

Sniffies is seeking a visionary Global Creative Director to define and elevate the visual and creative identity of our brand. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on creative expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shaping compelling brand narratives, producing dynamic content across multiple formats, and driving creative excellence in fast-paced, innovative environments.

We’re looking for a creative leader with expertise in graphic design, photography, video production, and experiential design—someone who thrives in transforming concepts into impactful campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.

The Global Creative Director will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, working closely with marketing, product, and design teams to develop bold, sex-positive campaigns that celebrate the diversity of our community. This role requires a deep understanding of male sexuality, cruising culture, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Brand Leadership: Establish and maintain visual brand guidelines that evolve with the company’s identity.
  • Creative Content Production: Oversee the development and execution of high-quality digital, social, print, OOH, and experiential content.
  • Merchandise Design: Collaborate with the merchandising team to create standout designs for Sniffies apparel and product launches.
  • Campaign Development: Partner with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional creative team of designers, copywriters, social media strategists, photographers, and project managers, fostering collaboration and ensuring excellence in execution.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Effectively manage budgets, production timelines, and resources to deliver impactful campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay at the forefront of design and industry trends, integrating best practices to maintain Sniffies’ competitive edge.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with external contractors, freelancers, and internal stakeholders to bring ideas to life and maintain alignment with business objectives.
  • Innovation & Strategy: Drive innovative creative strategies that push boundaries, challenge norms, and amplify Sniffies’ position as a leader in the LGBTQ+ space.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant creative experience, with 7+ years in a leadership role within an agency or corporate environment.
  • Creative Expertise: Proven ability to produce integrated content across digital, social media, paid media, mobile, print, and experiential platforms.
  • Visionary Leadership: Demonstrated success in mentoring diverse creative teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering results-driven campaigns.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to align creative concepts with business objectives and target audience needs.
  • Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful creative work.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in graphic design, video production, and photography; familiarity with relevant tools and software.
  • Sex-Positive Attitude: Deep understanding of male sexuality, including gay, bi, and straight-curious orientations, as well as cruising culture and its significance in the LGBTQ+ community.

Resume and portfolio showcasing your creative work required for consideration.

At Sniffies, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We appreciate all applicants' interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Join us in shaping the future of online connections and creative excellence at Sniffies.
