The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine within Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a BC/BE rheumatologist at an open rank for a full -time appointment in a rapidly growing program which is part of a multispecialty academic practice setting. Responsibilities will include: patient care on the inpatient consultative service, the outpatient practice, and
on-call coverage and teaching. Excellent clinical and teaching skills are required as instruction of medical students, residents and fellows is integral to our clinical program Musculoskeletal Ultrasound expertise would be a plus! If interested, there are opportunities for focused research as well.

Overview The Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is comprised of approximately 150 paid and more than 300 volunteer faculty members organized into 11 divisions covering the major medical subspecialties: Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Diseases; Cardiovascular Diseases and Hypertension; Education; Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition; Gastroenterology and Hepatology; General Internal Medicine; Hematology; Medical Oncology; Nephrology; Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine; and Rheumatology. |

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply.
