Job Description

SyncSmart is seeking a creative and growth-driven UX Designer to take full ownership of the user experience for our AI-powered data integration apps. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives on translating complex user needs into intuitive, high-fidelity designs, and who is excited to shape seamless in-app customer experiences in collaboration with a dynamic product and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UX Design Excellence: Create high-fidelity, production-ready designs in Figma for the company’s self-service data integration apps. Deliverables include interactive prototypes, detailed specifications, and design systems facilitating seamless collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Customer-Centric Design: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping to deeply understand user needs and behaviors. Translate insights into intuitive, accessible, and emotionally engaging interfaces.
  • AI-Enhanced User Experiences: Leverage AI capabilities to enhance user interactions, ensuring that AI features are transparent, trustworthy, and seamlessly integrated into the user journey.
  • React Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of designs into React applications, understanding component-based architecture and design tokens.
  • Design System Stewardship: Develop and maintain scalable design systems in Figma, promoting consistency across platforms and facilitating efficient design processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to align design solutions with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Ethical Design Practices: Ensure that AI-driven designs adhere to ethical standards, addressing concerns like algorithmic bias, privacy, and security, to foster user trust and confidence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional UX/UI design experience for Saas products, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in Figma, React, and AI-integrated designs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, including component creation, prototyping, and design system management. Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and React component structures is essential.
  • AI Knowledge: Understanding of AI, machine learning, and data visualization concepts, with experience designing interfaces for AI-driven products.
  • Design Thinking: Strong user-centered design thinking, with the ability to conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs based on data.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in designing enterprise-level applications in use by thousands of customers.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth.

  • Collaborative Culture: Join a diverse team of professionals who value creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Enjoy the flexibility of remote work with a supportive and inclusive team.
  • Competitive Compensation: Receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
