Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to join our team as an individual contributor. This role will be responsible for leading the creation, tracking, and enforcement of data governance processes. The Data Governance Lead will support enterprise data government capabilities and partner across the bank in developing and implementing data governance, data protection and data sharing best practices.
The Data Governance Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards for data management across the organization. This includes defining a clear vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals, securing top management commitment, and engaging stakeholders. The COE develops and enforces data governance policies, appoints data stewards, and implements processes to monitor and improve metadata quality. Additionally, it provides training to foster a data-driven culture and continuously refines practices to adapt to changing business needs. By ensuring effective data management and governance frameworks, the COE supports better decision-making and improved business outcomes.
