Crypto Test Engineer Administrator

NKI is looking for a test engineer to provide security and functional testing for cryptographic

network systems. This is an exciting position which will introduce networking professionals to

cutting edge networks and cryptographic systems.

Salary: Commensurate with education/certifications and experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform configuration and set up of cryptographic devices in a variety of network systems
• and environments
• Perform functional and performance testing of devices to determine suitability with
• operational military capabilities
• Develop test reports
• Answer technical queries and assist Navy users
• Create/Maintain documentation of system configuration
• Preferred Experience:
• Networking (Basic routing, use of Cisco IOS, knowledge of VPNs)
• Experience administering Linux / CentOS (RHCSA preferred)
• Security Certifications (CISSP, CompTIA+, Security+)
• Experience configuring/managing cryptographic devices
• Experience with key management systems/PKI concepts
• Experience with VPN tunneling, SSH
• Experience with monitoring tools and their implementation (e.g., Snort)
• Education:
• B.S. degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Clearance:

A Must - United States Citizenship and a US DoD clearance

Experience with Government Crypto devices preferred
