We are currently looking to hire a Temporary, Corporate Security Agent to join our team embedded with our client in Los Angeles, CA. This position requires working onsite at our client's Headquarters in Los Angeles, California (Downtown Los Angeles Financial District)!
*This is a full-time, contracted role that will run through February 2026. There is the potential for this position to be extended further into 2026.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Corporate Security Agent will provide critical security services while maintaining a customer service-focused approach. The individual will ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and visitors by patrolling assigned areas both indoors and outdoors, responding to incidents, and providing escorts for employees and guests as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safeguard the client site and personnel from all forms of safety and security hazards
Provide security coverage for employees, guests, and others in a way that is professional, courteous, and in compliance with established policies and procedures
Establish a front-facing security presence during business hours
Monitor for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches and respond accordingly following company procedures.
Secure the arrival and departure routes for key executives
Provide additional security functions for the space during non-office hours as needed
Conduct routine and random patrols of assigned areas on foot, including interior and exterior premises
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for visitor management, alarm/response protocols, and threat escalations at the office
Develop and maintain Accident Prevention plans and other safety protocols
Advise and take action addressing unknown visitors to the office location
Integrate office security with HR functions (terminations, screenings, removal of access, etc.).
Engage services vendors and manage access to and within the office space
Work in collaboration with the Director of Operations to build and manage a POI Database
Communicate with coworkers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in Corporate Security
All licenses and certifications as a Security Guard in CA
Proven training in First Aid/Medical response, De-escalation techniques
Must hold or be able to hold certification in First Aid/CPR/AED
Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior company leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Executive protection experience preferred
